Sara Caldwellr

Sara Caldwell is a lecturer in Film and Media Studies at UC Santa Barbara and a film/screenwriting instructor at College of the Canyons, Santa Clarita and FIDM, Los Angeles. She’s an award-winning screenwriter/filmmaker and author of Splatter Flicks: How to Make Low Budget Horror Films among other industry books. She received an M.F.A. in screenwriting from CSU Northridge and is a member of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Alliance of Women Directors (AWD).

Sean Jourdan & John Ingle

John Ingle, who graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a degree in Film Studies, works as a writer. He has completed six feature screenplays and a graphic novel. Ingle is also the producer and co-host of the podcast, Alien Minute.

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Sean J.S. Jourdan now lives and works in Denver, Colorado, where he relocated after obtaining his MFA in Film and Video at Columbia College Chicago. Following this, Jourdan studied chemical engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia and worked in that field after graduation. Soon after, Jourdan’s lifelong interest in storytelling and human nature led him to Washington University in St. Louis, where he obtained an MA in drama. His interests gradually moved from theater to film, where he worked as an award-winning screenwriter and director. Jourdan counts a number of prestigious honors among his accomplishments, including among many others: Silver Hugo – Chicago International Film Festival; CINE Golden Eagle; Top 7 (Horror) – Slamdance Screenwriting Competition; Finalist (Horror) – Nashville Film Festival Screenwriting Competition, 2nd Rounder – Austin Film Festival Screenwriting Competition; Winner – Inroads Screenwriting Fellowship; Finalist – ScreenCraft Horror Screenplay Competition; and Best Screenplay – LGBTQ Toronto Film Festival. Jourdan currently teaches screenwriting and directing at the University of Colorado Denver.

Devi Bhaduri

Devi Bhaduri is a Chicago screenwriter and playwright. She has a masters in writing from DePaul University, and studied screenwriting at the Writers Bootcamp. Her plays have been produced by the Rasaka Theatre Company and Dramatis Personae. Devi is also a contributor to the Chicago Review of Books, where you’ll find her reviews of horror and thriller fiction. Devi’s favorite horror stories investigate the supernatural, the psychological, or murders, and come with a generous helping of suspense. She is currently co-writing a horror feature with Chelses Venkadathu for Page 7 Productions.

Frank Mancuso

Frank Mancuso was born in Albany, NY. He graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1979. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Rose in 1983 in Public Communications. In 1983, he moved to NYC to study acting and pursue his dream. He studied at HB Studio’s with Bill Hickey and Michael Beckett. He took time away from acting and started a career in Law Enforcement. He was a Court officer, worked for the NYPD as A Evidence and Property Specialist and then became a NYC Deputy Sheriff in 1997 until he retired in 2014. He was also a First Responder during the 9/11 attacks. He also worked a second job at Madison Square Garden for 25 years, which lead him back into the movie industry working as a bodyguard to many celebrities over the years. Since then he has begun writing and producing. His first production, called Blue Iron, in which he was Executive Producer aired on Amazon Prime for a year.

Donnalyn Vojta

Formerly a litigation attorney, Donnalyn Vojta decided to put away the law books and pursue her writing dream in 2016 when she wrote two magical realism novels, both traditionally published and highly rated. Her voracious love for movies, though, set her on the screenwriting path in 2018. Donnalyn is now a working screenwriter who has written feature films in horror, fantasy, psychological thriller, and crime drama genres. Moreover, three of her original scripts earned “DOUBLE RECOMMENDS” this past year (one feature and two pilots). One of those pilots is in development with Rough Diamond Productions. Donnalyn resides in Chicago with her husband and two dogs.

Patrick Clement

Patrick Clement is a former newspaper editor and a University of Kansas alum. In May 2020 he graduated from the prestigious Screenwriting/Directing MFA Program at Columbia University in New York City. His short film Rabbits won Best Student Short at the New Hampshire Film Festival and Best Film at the Knoxville Film Fest. Most recently, his thesis film ‘Three Corner House’ (starring Orange is the New Black’s Michael J. Burg) won Best Actor at the Tallgrass Film Festival for newcomer Ty Baumann’s portrayal of a sexual adventurous teen in the subversive drama about family secrets. He is a seven-time Kansas Press Association Award winner, a Catwalk Artist Residency fellow and his book of rare William S Burroughs portraits won two Humanities Grants from the KU School of the Arts.
